Definition
To arrange to receive something regularly, either by paying (a newspaper subscription, a streaming service) or for free (a YouTube channel, an email newsletter). In digital English, 'subscribe to a channel' or 'hit subscribe' are extremely common phrases. The noun forms are 'subscription' (the arrangement or payment) and 'subscriber' (a person who subscribes).
