Definition
A regime is a government, ruling system, or organized set of rules. It is often political, as in authoritarian regime, but it can also describe a regulatory, tax, or training system. Do not confuse it with regimen, a structured health or treatment plan, or regiment, a military unit.
意味: regime は「政権」「支配体制」「制度化されたルール体系」という意味です。authoritarian regime のように政治でよく使いますが、regulatory regime や tax regime のように制度を表すこともあります。regimen は健康・治療などの計画、regiment は軍の部隊なので混同しないでください。
