Meaning
Queuing is waiting in a line or forming a line for service, entry, or a turn. It is especially common in British English. Do not confuse it with cueing, which means giving a cue.
Examples
- 私たちはチケット売り場の外で一時間並んでいた。
We were queuing outside the ticket office for an hour. - その店では開店前から客が列を作っていた。
Customers were queuing before the store opened.
