なだめられる / 融和的な / 怒りを解きやすい
Meaning
Placable means able to be calmed, appeased, or persuaded to stop being angry. It is much rarer than implacable, so learners usually meet it in formal writing or as the opposite of implacable.
Examples
- 相手は思ったよりなだめやすく、謝罪を受け入れました。
The client proved more placable than we expected. - 彼女の怒りは強かったが、丁寧な説明で和らげることができました。
Her anger was serious but placable with a careful explanation.
