Meaning
Inherent means naturally part of something and not added from outside. An inherent risk is a risk that belongs to the activity itself. Do not confuse it with adherent, a supporter or something that sticks.

- 投資には本質的なリスクがあります。
Investment has inherent risks. - この制度には内在する弱点があります。
The system has an inherent weakness.
