To hate means to dislike someone or something very strongly. It is a strong word, so it can sound harsh when used about people.

意味: hate は、人や物をとても強く嫌うという意味です。かなり強い語なので、人に対して使うときつく聞こえることがあります。

私は満員電車が大嫌いです。 — I hate crowded trains.
彼女は嘘をつかれるのが大嫌いです。 — She hates being lied to.
