habitat

Translation

生息地 / 生育地 / ハビタット / 生息環境

Meaning

The natural environment in which a specific animal, plant, or other organism lives and finds everything it needs to survive: food, water, shelter, and space to reproduce. Each species has its own habitat. A polar bear's habitat is the Arctic ice; a panda's habitat is bamboo forest. 'Habitat loss' is one of the main drivers of extinction globally.
