Definition
Global means relating to the whole world, or affecting all parts of the world. 'Global warming', 'global economy', 'a global pandemic', 'a global brand'. 'Global' is often interchangeable with 'worldwide' or 'international', but 'global' is slightly stronger — it implies the entire planet, not just many countries. 'International' can mean 'between two countries'; 'global' always implies the full worldwide scope. The adverb is 'globally': 'The product is sold globally.'
