Definition
Faculty usually means the teachers and academic staff of a university or department. In some varieties, it can also mean a university division, like a faculty of law. More formally, faculty can mean a mental ability. Do not confuse it with facility, a building or service.
意味: facultyは多くの場合、大学や学科の「教員団」を意味します。英語の種類によってはfaculty of lawのように「学部」を指すこともあります。よりフォーマルには「能力・機能」という意味もあります。facilityは施設・設備なので別です。
