移住する / 国外へ移住する / 他国へ移り住む

Meaning

Emigrate means to leave your own country in order to live in another country. The focus is the departure point. If someone left Japan to live in Canada, they emigrated from Japan. Do not use emigrate when the focus is arriving in the new country; that is immigrate.
