Definition
Dissent means disagreement, especially formal disagreement with an official decision, majority view, government, court, or organization. It can also be a verb. Do not confuse it with descent, downward movement or ancestry, or decent, acceptable or proper.
意味: dissentは「反対意見」「異議」、または「反対する」という意味です。特に公式な決定、多数派の意見、政府、裁判所、組織に対する正式な反対を表します。descentは「下降・家系」、decentは「まともな・きちんとした」なので混同しないでください。
