Meaning

To find something for the first time, or to learn something you did not know before. 'Columbus discovered America.' 'I discovered a great cafe near my office.' You can also discover facts: 'Scientists discovered that coffee helps memory.'

何かを初めて見つけること、または以前は知らなかったことを知ること。'Columbus discovered America.'（コロンブスはアメリカを発見した）。'I discovered a great cafe near my office.'（会社の近くに素晴らしいカフェを見つけた）。事実を発見することにも使えます：'Scientists discovered that coffee helps memory.'（科学者はコーヒーが記憶を助けることを発見した）。
