Definition
Eager to learn or know something. A 'curious' person asks questions and wants to understand the world around them. Note: 'curious' has a second meaning — 'strange or unusual' ('That is a curious situation'). Japanese learners should be aware that the word works in both ways, but as a personality trait it always means wanting to learn and explore.
