Meaning

To join two things together, or to link people and places. Used for technology ('connect to Wi-Fi'), for feelings ('I connect with her ideas'), and for physical things ('connect the cable').

二つのものをつなぐこと、または人や場所を結びつけること。テクノロジー（'connect to Wi-Fi'＝Wi-Fiにつなぐ）、気持ち（'I connect with her ideas'＝彼女の考えに共感する）、物理的なもの（'connect the cable'＝ケーブルをつなぐ）に使います。

• Wi-Fiに接続できません。
  I can't connect to the Wi-Fi.
