Alternatively introduces another option, method, or plan. It is like saying or as another possibility. Do not use it for actions that happen in turns; that is alternately.

意味: alternatively は、別の選択肢、方法、案を示す副詞です。「あるいは別の可能性として」という感じです。二つの動作が交互に起こる場合には使わず、その場合は alternately を使います。
