Meaning

Not real; imaginary or existing only in the mind. Also, used informally to describe something so remarkable or incredible that it seems impossible or dreamlike.

Examples

  • The artist's paintings often depicted unreal landscapes, blending fantasy with subtle hints of reality.
  • The view from the mountain top was absolutely unreal; I've never seen anything so beautiful.
