The experience of two or more events happening at the same time in a meaningful way, especially when these events are not obviously related.

Examples

  • She felt a sense of synchronicity when she found the exact book she was looking for in a random used bookstore.
  • The psychologist Carl Jung coined the term 'synchronicity' to describe meaningful coincidences.
