Meaning
Resembling sarcoidosis, a condition characterized by the growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in different parts of the body, such as the lungs, skin, or eyes. Sarcoidlike conditions can mimic the symptoms of sarcoidosis but may have different underlying causes.

- The doctor suspected a sarcoidlike condition and ordered a biopsy to rule out other possibilities.
- The patient's sarcoidlike symptoms improved significantly after treatment with corticosteroids.
