Having one side lower or smaller than the other; unevenly balanced or proportioned. Also used to describe a contest or competition where one side is much stronger than the other.

Examples

  • The old house had a charmingly lopsided roof, giving it a unique character.
  • Despite their best efforts, the basketball game quickly became lopsided with one team dominating.
